Successfully Invest and Avoid Risk
2019 foreign investment law changes are certainly
welcome news for foreign businesses willing to set
up a company in China who have long complained
about a lack of market access. For many foreign
multinational corporations, China has become one of
their largest markets, if not the largest, in the world.
Even for those that are only considering first-time
entry, such as cross-border payment or credit card
businesses, their global business models wouldn’t
be complete without a credible presence in China

Nuno Batista

CEO of Soulfato Group

Nuno majored in Communication and Multimedia at
the University of Lisbon. In China he founded several
businesses in the areas of education, multimedia,
finance and real estate investment and was awarded

Silva.

Life and Business in China
Hear from Nuno how he established himself in China
as a young professional, how he started his own
business and successfully got into the real state
market in China and Europe and was awarded “Best
Portuguese Overseas Businessmen.” The barriers,
cultural differences, business opportunities, and all
the must-know from a personal perspective when
coming into China.
