Some of Trump’s foreign policy pronouncements are music to China’s ears

China’s economic transformation policy and Donald Trump’s increased growth plans bring great promise for 2017 according to the China Daily.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, meanwhile, has already reached out to offer his congratulations to Trump. Xi sent a message to Trump expressing a wish to work together “to push China-U.S. relations further forward from a new starting point.”

This will become easier for those bringing business to China in the future. China is expected to increase foreign investment in 2017, according to a statement at the recent Central Economic Work Conference. ( Xinhua News China)

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China is likely to remain stable in 2017, with its share of global FDI expected to stay at about 8 percent, government officials said on Friday.

“Our share will not fall, it may even increase,” said Liu Hongkuan, an official with the National Development and Reform Commission, referring to FDI.

FDI in China rose 3.9 percent to 731.8 billion yuan ($105.53 billion) in the first 11 months of this year from a year earlier, while non-financial outbound direct investment jumped 55.3 percent to 1.07 trillion yuan, ministry data showed (Reuters)

Marco Pearman-Parish, CEO of Corporation China, said today in an interview with CBN that “2017 is one of the best times to enter into the Chinese market , Chinese authorities have relaxed  procedures enabling foreign companies to establish faster in China.
