Have you ever stood in front of your closet, struggling to decide what to wear, and wondered “What would Taylor Swift do?” Or rifled through your T-shirt drawer and thought, “If only I had a shirt with Taylor Swift’s face on it?” Or checked out a shot of the singer brunching with her boyfriend and said, “I wish I could shake those overalls right off Taylor Swift’s body and wear them to brunch with my DJ boyfriend”?
WELL, GET READY.
Taylor Swift’s China-based clothing line with Heritage66 showed in Hong Kong today, WWDis reporting, and it’s everything you hoped/dreamed/feared it would be.
Because Taylor Swift doesn’t adhere to seasons, the collection is a mix of spring-summer and fall-winter―overalls for spring? groundbreaking!―and the clothes were just about as Taylor Swift as you (and Taylor Swift) could get. Crop tops! Flouncy skirts! High-waisted, cropped pants! Song lyrics!
The clothes were basically taken right off of her bod and put on a Converse-wearing model walking down a runway with “Bad Blood” playing in the background. But, like, actually:
Which means Taylor Swift is probably naked somewhere, writing a song about this. “I don’t know about you but I’m feeling naked, too. Everything will be alright, if you keep me in front of you!” (…Just a suggestion.)
